Website delivery and hosting
Our server processes your IP address, time, requested URL, HTTP status, transfer size and information sent by your browser (such as browser type and referrer). This supports delivery, reliability, troubleshooting and protection against abuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure operation of this service.
Our hosting provider is STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, which processes hosting data as a service provider. Access logs support operations and security analysis. Retention depends on the necessary diagnostic and security purpose and automatic size-based rotation of system logs. Relevant records may be needed until a specific incident is resolved and, where necessary, legal claims are addressed.
Your cookie choice
We store your choice, timestamp and consent-text version in your browser’s localStorage under cms-consent-v1 for up to 180 days. The entry is discarded on your next visit after expiry. It is not sent to Google. This lets us respect your preference. Legal bases are section 25(2)(2) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR for our consent obligations. Optional analytics remains off until you make an affirmative choice.
Google Analytics – only with consent
If you agree, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand page views, sessions and use of this information portal. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data includes cookie identifiers, page address without query parameters, page title, time, interaction and session data, browser/device information and approximate location. Your IP address is technically processed when connecting; Google states that EU users’ IP addresses are discarded before storage.
The legal bases are Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and section 25(1) TDDDG. Before you agree, we load no Google Analytics scripts and send no analytics requests, including cookieless pings. Google signals, advertising personalisation and automatic form-input collection are disabled for this site. We do not send calculator inputs to Google.
The _ga and _ga_… cookies distinguish browsers and sessions. We limit their lifetime to 180 days without renewal on every page view. Browsers may shorten this. GA4 user and event data is configured for two months’ retention; standard aggregated reports are not covered by that setting.
Google may also process data through Google LLC in the United States. Google relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for covered US transfers and, where necessary, standard contractual clauses. Details and safeguards: Google data transfers. Further information: Google Privacy Policy.
You can withdraw consent at any time for the future through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Choose “Reject all”. We disable analytics and remove accessible analytics cookies for this domain. Prior processing remains lawful if it was lawful when performed. Withdrawal does not automatically delete data already sent to Google.
Calculator, external links and contact
The capacity calculator runs locally in your browser and does not send your input values to our server. Fonts and design assets are served locally. External websites, including the euroNAS contact form, are opened only when you follow their links and have their own privacy information.
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your contact details and message to answer your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual enquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We delete this data once the enquiry is resolved unless statutory retention or necessary defence of legal claims requires continued storage.
Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability (Articles 15–20 GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time for the future (Article 7(3) GDPR).
Objection: Where processing relies on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21 GDPR). You may object to direct marketing at any time.
You may complain to a supervisory authority, particularly in the place where you live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred. The authority for private businesses in Bavaria is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).
You are not required to agree to analytics. The website and calculator remain available without it. We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing.
